One of the newer Blutonium releases to come from Germany is that of a collaboration with Blutonium master DJ Session One aka Blutonium Boy and new boy in town DJ Neo on this jet fuelled track.
Blutonium Boy vs DJ Neo - Higher Level, one of the recent tracks out on Blutonium Records, the rising star of European hard trance label.
Tracklist: A1. Blutonium Boy Mix B1. DJ Neo Mix
Blutonium Boy Mix
Those drums! The opening sequence is a very drum heavy sequence not too disimilar from Redanka's Sonic Strategy on Whoop! Records a little while ago, but the deep thumping bassline, combined with what I would consider as an Arnold Schwartzeneger vocal line with some distortion kindles into a very heavy tribal bassline reminiscent of productions by Cosmic Gate mixed with Resistance D. Very pumping and those screaming basslines and 303s as well as bass sequences are guaranteed to rock your dance floor.
"You Will Reach the Higher Level.... You Will Now Reach the Higher Level..." is the Arnie vocal sample heard yet again in the big break which ensues, and the almost dutch sounding melody comes into play before winding back into that the hugely massive bassline.
This Blutonium veteran producer has wasted no time in including all the key elements of a good German hard trancer and this is definitely one of the top tunes from Blutonium this year so far.
DJ Neo Mix
On the flip side, is something of an unexpected production from the new 21 year old producer from Germany.
Even deeper and more throbbing than the other side, this one brings on the darker tipped hard trance edge, which might remind you of something by Hardfloor or Sven Vath in their more melodic and harder tipped days. Not meant for the uplifting trance listener, this one drives you further and further up till the big break about 2/5ths into the track, before one of the most magnificent synth sequences on this label I have ever heard comes into play.
Big riffs and melodic pads take over the speakers at this point and just push you just that little bit further towards the edge before the big basslines come back to destroy the dance floors. Perhaps not a typical German trancer, this is an even stronger track than the Blutonium Boy mix and is definitely a top notch production from a producer which a huge potential in the near future.
Massive! 9/10!
