'Here is the first release from Noctophobia aka Murat & Aytek. These hot new producers reside in Istanbul- Turkey and look set to light up many a dance floor over the coming months via there various guises working both together and on their own seperate projects.' This release on Method holds all the vital elements required in a track..and has a fantastic remix on the flip! .. Superb opening release for Noctophobia on Method..hopefully many more to come...
Murat Uncoglu is one of Istanbuls top progressive DJ's and resides @ Venue Club Scene in Turkeys capital city. Aytekin Kurt (Aytek) is an established producer in Turkey already & now the rest of the world with their joint releases on 3 Beat (Asylum Seekers), Eve (Organica) and POD (Spectralminds)....
Aytek has also recently signed tracks to Method & most recently our sister label Baroque with his other writing partner Duran as Duran & Aytek (strangely!!) so keep an eye out for those.
"Perfect Sense is, in its original mix from, a quality slice of hypnotic house with some rather cool production, haunting female vox samples, ethereal strings & a bit of a scary 2nd bass line. A refreshing sound & one that most definately works where it counts... see for yourself!"
"On the A side the Miracleworkz remix sees the guys working with their chunky beats hat on! This mix keps the vibe of the original, but layers tough beats with hooky loops and large synths. A relentless mix & certainly one for peak time!"
Miracleworkz Rmx: The Miracleworkz remix provides a fresh driving approach to the track..highly influenced by a deep rumbling bassline. It layers funky high hats to chugg along in key. Superb effects are added all the way through maintaining its energy. The track is pure peak time energy. Echoed distortion on the vox comprises a hint of electronic magic. The track is in keeping with previous Method productions-especially those of Jay Welsh (Eg Four Horsemen). The track is unrelenting in the conquest to drive further. It twists to a break contrasting the hard edged characteristics to a female vocal and soft synth-only to regain full momentum and storm to a close.
Original Mix: The bassline is the key feature throughout this mix. It is a lot more thumping rather than driving than the remix. The track is packed with effects, cutting into the track at every interval. The break comes early, still haunting the chilling effects as they disect the same synth as on the remix. A reverbed hollow sound draws back the bass to rush through an eventful mid section. The track maintains a chugging approach throughout, more of a building track, as you feel it is holding back from unleashing what the remix delivers. Never-the-less, an outstanding piece of production work .
Both class tracks- manipulated right could cause havoc on the dancefloor!
