The latest DJ Fire is one to keep an eye out for, already being played by lots of DJ's, like John ´00` Fleming at GKGG hence why this became tune of the week!
Belgian DJ & Producer DJ Fire (Jurgen Leyers) has put out his second release under the DJ Fire name, this time its called Jetlag.
A: Jetlag B: Diabolic
Jetlag starts off like John ´00` Fleming´s remix of Café Del Mar, with a hard bassline, and some background noises. A high hat kicks in, followed by some synths. But this is nothing yet, wait till the vocals kick in!! The vocals start of very soothing, with a very emotional undertone. Enigma used vocals like this in one of his song, but you can't compare Enigma to DJ Fire. This isn't a song to listen to at home, but in a club. This was made with only one purpose, to get people dancing! And so far it looks good. The breakdown in the middle of the song is to die for, those divine vocals, strings like from a movie where there's something emotional happening. Then it all comes together again for the latest climax before it slows down and ends.
Diabolic on the other hand is something completely different, it starts off much calmer, but with more strings to it, so this has some more emotion at the start. But it doesn´t contain those vocals. It goes the opposite way, its more progressive, and has less melody in the first part of the song. The second part of the song sees a few new layers, which gives Diabolic a twist, and make it more energetic.
Conclusion: both songs are equally good, but Jetlag has the edge on Diabolic cause of the incredible vocals.
