M.I.K.E is here with a new production under the aliases of Solar Factor, after the two massive dark hits "Deep Sonar" and "No Return", Urban Shakedown coming with a bit different this time? or is it keeping the old tradition of the dark sounds? lets find out.
There is two sides on this vinyl, The original mix and G&M Project Mix.
A1: The original mix start with shake sounds, yes like the title, then the famous dark bassline enters with a hard clap, progressive sounds all the way, a little transform into the melody. All the massive sounds chilled away, to a small breakdown with a great melody - this tune is sure uplifting, seems that M.I.K.E haven't lost it.
B1: G And M Project the Israeli producers, who brings us great hits all the time, decided to mix this masterpiece aswell, and in the start we definitely can sense the very melodic, unique sounds, as already been said uplifting sounds covered the tune with a new atmosphere,. I guess M.I.K.E fans will go for the A1 on this vinyl, but Trance fans overall will choose the B1, that has his special sounds in it.
Conclusion: This is a great hit to close the wonderful trance year of 2002, the new Solar Factor is different then his old stuff, but the good dark sounds still exist, Urban Shakedown!! :-)
