Ivibes presents a close look to MP3.com's famous Trance Duo TBO & Vega. As well, their new production - "God saw the light", available on mp3.com, is finished...
Introduction
Music enthusiast who are online surely know TbO&Vega. The two guys from germany are well known in the mp3 music scene since they started collaborating four years ago among the tracker music scene.
TbO&Vega both made their first music experiences in the 1980´s homecomputer era using C64 and Amiga computers experiencing that those machines were too limited for their needs.
In the mid-nineties the first music archives for tracked music were opened on the internet namely the legendary hornet archive or traxinspace. TiS was also the place where both artists met via email. At first they only swapped songs with each other because they were both passionate trance fans but quickly they experienced that maybe collaborating could lead to better music and more success among the scene.
That was when TbO&Vega was born. Since early summer 1999 TbO&Vega chose mp3 as their preferred music format to reach more listeners. Also, technically spoken, mp3 offered a lot more possibilities due to sound quality.
In 2001 TbO&Vega released "Cosmic Space" (virtual records) which placed in the german dj-playlist. They also did remixes for Giorgio Ponticelli, DJ Session One, The Scarab vs. Inzite and actually for Keely, an upcoming artist from finland.
Right now, at the end of 2002, their newest production "God saw the light" finally was released, please read the short review at the end of this page.
But never did TbO&Vega forget the mp3 community - still they are releasing tracks on mp3.com.

Short Review of "God saw the light"
You surely remember Neil Armstrong´s legendary quote from the bibel that he aired from the moon back to earth. TbO&Vega took this recording and embedded it into trance beats, bright pads and powerful hooks.
The Track starts right away with Neil's famous quote, a nice Bassline and great percussions. Synths follow leading into a massive buildup. The melody itself consists of beeping synths and massive Strings. I would recommend you to download this tune if you are into uplifting Trance / Eurodance.
