Another well awaited UK release, this time in the form of Dumonde. Bulletproof to the chance of releasing 'God Music' which did the rounds in Europe not so long ago...
If I mentioned Dumonde, which track do you think of first? 'Tomorrow'? 'Never Look Back'? 'See The Light'? Or their latest release entitled 'Mind Made Up'? As you can see, Dumonde have released alot of material to have a high status and standard to live up to, and with this full UK release of 'God Music', I'm sure that the standard will only continue.
A1. Original Mix B1. Cosmic Gate Remix
A1. When I first put the needle on the track and started to play this record, I was expecting something different to what I heard. I imagined some har-trance monster but instead I recieved this funky, uplifting, dancefloor friendly, emotive trance track in keeping with the very prominent European-esque style. Love the breakdown in this, some really deep bass and some juicy breaks accompanying the main tune to get the club moving! Very euphoric, very uplifting and pretty different for Dumonde in my opinion. Not the best production they've done, but I wouldn't say it's harmed their status at all. Crackin' tune!
B1. Now, this can only be the complete oposite of the original - Cosmic Gate producing easy-on-the-ears trance, I don't think so! From almost start to finish this drives hard energy into the air waves, pure might and just big old nasty, tough, chunky kicks! Wack the bass up and you've got yourself a mini-dinosaur! I think the main tune is taken to new highs in this remix, Cosmic Gate almost brought me to tears first time around and now, for all those UK fans who couldn't get it the first time, a full UK release of this baby! WOW! Got to be one of the best hard-trance tracks of 2002 and soon to be 2003! 10/10! Brilliant production!
January 2003 has been set for the release date and with Bulletproof already comissioning Flutlicht and Euphonic to remix this track, a lovely little 'Part 2' can be purchased also, great news and what a way to start the new year aye!?
