Whoooa! The title does the track justice! There definitly is so much power encompassed within the very core of this energetic track! With two titles included in the vinyl and some cool remixes this is one not too miss out on!...
On The Remixes: Warp Brothers - Cocaine (Original Mix) Warp Brothers - Cocaine (Voodoo & Serano Mix) Warp Brothers - POWER (Original Mix)
Well, this track cocaine is disturbingly amazing! We start of with killer beats and a killer sub riff and some groovy percussions, to lead into one of the best breakdowns ive heard in a while. Its all 'so send me into outa space, to find another place' if you know the track im referring to then replace the words with 'ive got cocaine running around my veins, ive got cocaine running around in my veins' with the same sort of tune to it and almost identical back beats and funky groove, which all leads into something rather special surely! The synth is very much like guitar mixed with some killer hard trance sounds which drive you with its awesome melody! This track is filled with raw power and has enough variation to have you listen to it over and over again! Definitly worth a buy even for the original alone! The voodoo and serano mix is nothing very special at all with the usual sounds from them and keeping the originals breakdown which is a good thing! It all just leads into a usual trance riff which is only ok at the best of times...
POWER: This track is awesome also! if you can remember as far back as Phatt bass or We Will Survive then you will be familiar with the pattern this track takes you. althouhg it is missing the whole blade thing, the vocals are very similar to the other two tracks which is very cool indeed. The main riff n this track is nothing short of wonderfull! Personally its got more energy than anything ive heard in 2002 and in 2003 so far! If this track was released on its own it would be worth buying!
So all in all you have 2 amazing tracks on one vinyl! A difinte buy! So go buy it now if you like these styles in any way! :)
