Remember the Massive: Midway - Monkey Forest? Was one of the best tunes of 2002 by the Uplifting Trance master Ralphie B, who is here with a new follow up...with the support of Black Hole Recordings of course :) What did Ralphie B. bring for us for 2003? Let´s find out.
A1: Midway - Inca start has some monotone vocal, with a progressive layers, the unique Midway bassline, growing and growing and you can sense the uplifting on it..quality leads added on the background, a breakdown and the atmosphere is still with those progressive layers, transform with a smooth melody that gets louder and louder with a great snare, uplifting! the vocals are coming again, another lift, very well produced. 10/10
B1: Midway - Kung Fu that song has very unique sounds, carnival whistles with exotic drums, and yes progressive layers here aswell, smooth bassline, transforms with lots of extra effects. very calming, after the breakdown enters, a big crash produce another atmosphere with the main melody, quality stuff! uplifting with special sounds. 9/10
Conclusion: Ralphie still keeps his great work and well done producing skills, the vinyl is terrific, although "Monkey Forest" was better in my opinion :) Expect more from Midway project, a remix for Solar Stone "Solar Coaster" under the label "Lost Language".
