After months of hype this trance monster has finally arrived. Featuring new remixes for its full release on one of the hottest labels around, Platipus.
Rococco has been hammered by the likes of Armin van Buuren and Matt Hardwick for months. It featured on Gatecrasher's highly acclaimed 'Resident Transmission' CD and has been in demand ever since.
The wait is over, full promos have been issued on 2 seperate discs. Disc 1 features the massive ´Original Mix´ and ´Kansai´s Chillout Mix´ on the flip. Meanwhile Disc 2 features remixes from rising stars ´Neo & Farina´ and established Belgian duo ´Fire & Ice´.
The ´Original Mix´ is already huge, its tough bassline and percussion ripped apart many dancefloors last year while the simple yet effective melody brought everyone to a standstill for that 'hands in the air' moment.
´Kansai's Chillout Mix´ is as expected, a chilled out take on the original, nothing too interesting, basically a filler for Disc 1 in my opinion.
Disc 2 is the one I'm personally more interested in. ´Neo & Farina´ deliver a great remix which is currently doing the rounds with the new GodsKitchen resident ´Jon O´Bir´ amongst others. The bassline is deep and pumping, but they use the strings in the track to produce a superb mellow feel. The breakdown is very similar to that of the Original, although when the kick comes back, it´s far more epic.
On the flip is the ´Fire & Ice Remix´ which, in my opinion is the pick of the bunch. They´ve created a much more flowing mix, it´s a trancier affair, more energetic, emotive and epic which is what we have come to expect from these 2 very talented producers.
Full release date scheduled for: February 24th
