Well, this guy has been storming Ireland for quite a few years now and this newest offering from him really does blow the speakers. This track would be classed as techno/progressive, well somewhere between those genres anyway. Its got a sort of commercial feel to it too but not much, it quite difficult to explain...
Mr Spring - Voyager 2003 [PROMO]
Starting off I was at a Mr Spring gig and I heard him play this track and to be honest the crowd on the dancefloor went absolutly crazy! Im sure this will be a success if promoted well!
Well we start off with a nice intro, got some nice male vocals introducing the track to us meer earthlings!. Now for the next 3 minutes or so we got a nice progressive buildup with new elements kicking in here and there. Now we get to the breakdown and well we get a crazy buildup which leads into a sub breakdown where the main hook is ignited!! now to the sub breakdown (Can I call it that?) anyway we get a cool little stabbing melody with a low-tone synth which is crowd appealing and very catchy as well as posessing the ability to drive the audience to dance as hard as they can... Finally we just break into frenzy with the main section of the track which is full of energy and power, with its groovy bass sounds and pumping kicks and melody.
Once this is all over after about 2mins we get another nice progressive slow down although loosing some elements it gains more elements and has some nice vocal samples in there. Then instead of a long buildup for the second break we have just a buildup of about 15 seconds and then it breaks into, yet again, a great powerfull sounding track with a lot of potential!
Finally its just breaks down and the crowd are ready for the next track... This is a great song for progressive & techno dancefloors! A MUST buy if you play this genre of material! It should be available all over europe by the time you read this!
