 Will it finally come true? After so many years of delays and promises? Will the Sasha debut album finally be released in 2002
The album which a lot of us have been waiting for, for 5 years, looks to be released during the first few months of 2002, and Sasha himself has been talking a bit about it to radio stations in the UK and in recent interviews.
Having been first proposed in 1996, one of the gods of trance, known for his seamless mixing, and one of the pioneers of progressive trance, Sasha made it clear that all his gigs would be cancelled in 1996 until his album was finished. That day never came.
In 1999, he made a promise that the album of exclusive productions and remixes would be released during the first half of 2000, but that never came.
Finally, in November 2001, he speaks out again, claiming that his album will be released in early 2002. As he quotes:
"It's close, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I'll have nailed it! I've never felt more confident about it happening. Although I say that every year"
I guess we'll have to see whether or not Sasha puts out this long awaited release, or will it be several years yet, but there are still several productions which he has worked on over the course of 2001 which have not been released yet... lets hope they will come to light soon!.
He is currently on tour with Digweed in the states, and his new website is under construction at the moment, but should be up soon!
