i:Vibes has looked pretty much the same since the opening back in November 2001. Now the first major update has been launched. Read on for more information about what's new and changed.
We started working on this new site back in summer 2002. Lots of ideas were mentioned by all members of the i:Vibes-crew and we put up a list of things to add many months ago. Unfortunately it takes time to add everything so we decided a couple of months ago to launch what we had so far. Therefore you can expect many new features to be added the following weeks!
Here's a short summary of the news:
- New layout (not actually finished yet)
- Search function for the articles (not complete for all parts of the site)
- Article archive - you can now browse old articles
- Label profiles (actually ready 9 months ago...)
- A new layout of the reviews
- Listing latest additions to our store on the main site
- Showing latest forum topics on frontpage
- Possibility for registered users to set preferred width and alignment to view i:Vibes through their preferences button above
- Event-calendar (not entirely finished...sorry)
- Faster loading of pages
- Fixed problems with autologin (hopefully)
- New official radio station (tranceairwaves.com)
- Forum now more integrated into the site layout
This is just about 30% of the total list of enhancements we have right now, so there's still a lot left to do. New features and fixes will from now on be added almost weekly.

Update
After the opening we experienced quite a few bugs, the most serious ones are now fixed but we are aware that there's plenty left to do.
Fixed so far:
- Fixing the "critical error" message some people experienced
- Displaying latest records added to the store
- Link section (didn't work at all)
- Listing of news archive
- Fixed some backend issues
