One of the best clubs in the south has been Sold, find out the full information here!
Quoted from the Official Press Release
Future 3000 plc has sold Future 3000 (Opera House) Ltd, the operating company of the Opera House nightclub and owner of the world famous Slinky brand, for an undisclosed sum, to Ultimate Pleasure Ltd, owner and operator of similar premises in Telford.
The new Managing Director, Clive Collins, says, “ We’re delighted to have acquired this prestigious southern nightclub & the internationally renowned clubbing brand Slinky. As we’ve bought the business as a going concern the existing management team are still in place & it’s business as usual for The Opera House & Slinky but, expect to see some major improvements at the club in the very near future & some exciting developments over the coming months”
When asked why he sold the business, previous owner, Richard Carr said “the Opera House does not fit within our business plan any longer; we are developing hotels & bars & are no longer involved in nightclubs”
Hopefully we will still see business as usual then for the people who go every week in the south of England, and this will help prolong the club, as if the previous owners weren't interested in clubs, they may have shut it down.
