DJ Tomcraft and his Loneliness production, which has been hot in mainland Germany over the past few months is finally set for a major UK release on the Ministry of Sound imprint.
The electro trance rocking track which has been around for the past few months is finally hitting the UK shelves on the Ministry of Sound sublabel Data Recordings.
"On April 28th prepare yourselves for the punk-trance revolution, as Tomcraft’s sleaze-synth epic ‘Loneliness’ is unleashed by Data Records. Already a massive hit on the underground ‘Loneliness’ is overflowing with twisted guitars and cavorting electro-basslines. Think Fischerspooner getting the once over by Ferry Corsten. Think Depeche Mode meets Kernkraft 400 all wrapped up in a stunning, poignant vocal.
Loneliness began life as an instrumental sitting in the dark recesses of Tomcraft aka Thomas Brückner’s Munich studio. “I’d been working on some ideas for tracks with my studio partner Eniac, explains the teutonic producer. “But there was always something missing. Then one day I was in my local charity shop, where I always buy second hand records, mostly older 50’s and 60’s stuff. I came across this amazing soulful vocal on an old 70’s track. We got our singer Vivian to come in and update the sound, speed it up and it worked out brilliantly.”
Complete with remixes as follows:
1. Radio Edit 2. Club Mix 3. Tillman Uhrmacher Mix 4. Benny Benassi Mix
and includes the CD Rom video as well.
Available from all good record stores.
