Today I bought the new Faithless single. I was very enthusiastic about it and bought it before I pre-heared it in the record store.
It containes 6 mixes:
radio edit
rollo and sister bliss mix
rollo and sister bliss funky as fuck mix
tiesto mix
hiver and hammer remix
subtech remix
Radio edit:
Like nearly every faithless song Maxi's Voice plays a big role in this track - calm spoken words surrounded by a catchy melody. In the middle of the song percussions and melody stops and u hear only the sound of his voice - short buildup and then the melody again.
Nice mix, easy on the ears.
Rollo and Sister Bliss Mix:
Same like Radio edit, but nicer and longer buildup to this simple but very interesting melody... This Mix has more Percussions in it. One who loves drum percussions will surely like this track most.
Rollo and sister Bliss Funky as fuck mix:
This mix is for all you progressive lovers out there. Not as much melodic like the 2 mixes before. Not my favourite mix, but I let you decide :-)
Tiesto Mix
Loooooong Buildup! Tiesto plays with the melody of this song. Great to listen to.
Hiver and Hammer Remix:
Kind of a Goa/Psychidelic Trance Remix. The rhythm and the percussions of the first minutes remind me of Singles from Platipus Records. I think you'll like it even if you're normally not into Goa or psychidelic trance. Nice buildups and a strong but still floating Rhythm.
Subtech remix:
Housy remix. The melody does not change much, but I like the good sound FX in this track!
Faithless has done a great job again! It's not a chartbreaker like Insomnia, but a great song to listen and dance to. I would recommend these mixes not only to trancelovers, every remix has its own style, every one sounds different.
I definately don't regret I bought this track. Maybe you'll like it too.....
