Plastic Angel's Records label, dropped us a strong epic masterpiece, the new single from the great due, Robert Gitelman and Yaron Martinez. After the success of 'Signet' their first single, 2 players are back with a new single called 'Pitch & Shela', do they keep the same sounds? or a complete new quality track? Read on to find out...
There are two sides on this vinyl, check this out:
A1: 2 Players - Pitch & Shela (Original Mix) B1: 2 Players - Pitch & Shela (Jaron Inc Mix)
Original Mix, starts with a soft and soild sound, the bassline slightly enters, which is familiar with the regular bassline sound 2 Players use. A great melody synth' is coming, joins with more and more layers; leads tab in the background, it grows, the great melody fade in and out. At this point you can sense the main theme, another fade into the breakdown; silence..the massive main melody gets warmer, its insane. Swishes and transformers, more leads and the major melody is at its climax - this is trance! 10/10.
Jaron Inc Mix, shakers and hats with a low kick covered with an epic piano sound; the bassline is deeper, without notice the atmosphere of the tune changes, more layers make it uplifting and even dramatic look. The buildup melody is increasable, at big it is, it gets fade away slowly into a short breakdown - that great piano gives us a fresh taste for the rest, a dramatic stop. Main melody is here, the epic feeling is here, the piano is here too, what is missing? ah yes the big uplift - amazing! 9/10.
Conclusion:
I must admit, this record is fantastic, I can't expect more from the Israeli due. Some new experience with new sounds on both versions, but still the uplifting and melodic sound is still there. Out Soon on Afterglow records.
