Fort Dance 2003, Russia¹s premier dance music festival, will take place
this year in Saint Petersburg on July 26th.
The event is produced by Zeppelin Club, Moscow, Russia¹s leading
superclub. Production values for the event this year are especially
high as Saint Petersburg is celebrating the 300th anniversary of its
founding by Peter the Great.
Confirmed for the event are Canadian superstar DJ Tiga, BBC Radio One¹s
Lottie, Sander Kleinenberg, Mark Spoon, Above and Beyond, Thrillseekers,
Daniele Davoli, ex-Prodigy Leeroy Thornhill and VJ Kriel. Russian DJs
include Zeppelin resident, DJ Ivan Roudik (Russia¹s first professional
DJ) who is celebrating 10 years behind the decks.
Fort Dance 2003 will be held in an 18th century fort in the Gulf of
Finland, accessible only by boat of helicopter. It is a multi-million
dollar production with 3 Arenas for 5000 VIPs and 20 000 other guests.
The event is being broadcast on MTV and Russian Channel NTV to over 120
million viewers.
