Top producer Olmec Heads recently branched out and established a new moniker The Deck Slaves, the next release under the guise is going to be one to look out for.
The Deck Slaves is a new tech-tribal studio project from producer Olmec Heads and signifies a firm change of direction and pace from the usual Olmec Heads material, with a track which draws influence from the Japanese legend.
The track titled The 47 Ronin is going to be a surprise to some of you and having heard a sample of this, I can tell you that the dark pumping track combined with flavours from the far east is one to look out for.
You might have guessed it, the track samples the movie Ronin and is set for a release this summer, with a remix from UK's Kiss 100 DJ Steve Smart under his own project with Nick Woolfson (better known for his work under Sounds from the Ground on Nettwerk) under the Carbon guise.
The remix is darker than the original, and this one delivers right on the money and then slides you of on to a whole new concept of the original.
