© TGItalys premier hard trance and hardstyle label 'Future Sound Corporation' has a short tea-break, as the top hard trancin' two-some the Trance Generators take 5 minutes to tell us what really is going off down there in 'not so little' italy.

Wether you like your trance hard/melodic/epic or progressive, you are almost guaranteed to have heard of this hard, driving duo from italy, yes thats right the Trance Generators join us for an insight into being the best of the best on the hard trance circuit.

[i:Vibes]: Let's start with the basic's for those that are unfamiliar with the
Trance Generators. Could you give a basic introduction to the Trance Generators, i.e name, age and style of music, and tell us a little bit about yourselves:

TG: THE TRANCE GENERATORS consist of two artists : Ben Dj (29) and Radium (25).
The style started off with hard trance in the year 1999, and then it was important that we followed our own individual style which has now been called "Hard Style".
We also listen to all styles of music, because when producing, it is very important to keep ahead of the market.

[i:Vibes]: Most artists have an influence which urged them to get into the music
industry, and start producing music. Who would you say was your inspiration?:

TG: We didn't have an idol or artist that we followed, but instead we followed the hard trance music scene, which helped us to construct our own style. We have always loved the feeling of the dance scene and so it is a great experience when playing out, seeing the reacion of the crowd, that we once were a part of, and still are.

[i:Vibes]: You have had your very own style of hard trance/hardstyle for a few
years now, do you think it is good for an artist to have their own sound, or do you think that an artist should constantly experiment and try to break down new musical barriers?:

TG: We think that both are important because on one hand it is very good to experiment with styles and sounds for it is always exciting to set trends, but on the other hand, keeping to market and understanding the public's view secures that we will always have a market and a reaction.

[i:Vibes]: As a Trance Generators fan, I would say that you have had a very
pleasing success. Are you pleased with all that the Trance Generators have achieved so far?:

TG: We are very happy with what we've done so far, we are pleased that we are recognised all over the world which is very satisfying to us.

[i:Vibes]: For every DJ/Producer there is an ultimate goal, or an absolute high in their career. What would be the biggest achievement for the Trance Generators, in terms of playing at a club/event, or success in the record sales charts?:

TG: We do not search for a goal in this business we work only because we love
the music. When playing in front of a large crowd we get the best feeling, from country
to country.

[i:Vibes]: If you had to name a current DJ or producer that you admire, who would it be and why?:

TG: We respect alot of the producers but we can not write the list because it
would be long.

[i:Vibes]: Out of all of your past productions, which was your favourite, or which
do you think was the biggest hit and why?:

TG: We have reciently sold over 8,000 copies of the track "Wild Style Generation", which has been our best seller because it was a worlwide sell out. We have many favourites which sold many, such as "Rock To Da Beat", "Connected" and "Never In Danger". We believe that the reason for this is because they are very powerfull and are full of energy which is what the market is looking for at this present time.

[i:Vibes]: Everyone that knows the name 'Trance Generators' will know that you
guys kick serious ass when it comes to blasting the speakers with a latest
production. But surely you guys must like to chill out once in a while,
what other styles of music (in general) do you listen to?:

TG: A wide range of music is listened to but we tend to keep it linked to the club scene, because that is what we are part of.

[i:Vibes]: So what can TG fans expect from Ben DJ & Radium in the coming weeks and
months?

TG: At the end of September we are releasing the official T.G. album "Banging
Sounds" with some unreleased tracks and some remix's of the existing tunes. It will
be released on CD aswell as double sided 12". We have alot of new releases
ready to launch for the future, which you will have to wait to get your hands on.

[i:Vibes]: Not only have you had great success as 'Trance Generators', but also
you have your ever growing record label 'Future Sound Corporation' which
boasts (in my opinion) one of the most exciting double acts for harder
music, Klasic & Sanders (aka Devil's Ear). How does it feel to have such a
bright double act to work alongside, with your styles that compliment each
other?:

TG: We are pleased to be working with the new up and coming artists from around
the world, and we feel that it is good to work as a team.

[i:Vibes]: Do you have any other aliases, apart from Trance Generators'?:

TG: ATOMIC ALLIANCE, SIMON J BERGHER, and we are also the producers of the solo
Project RADIUM.

[i:Vibes]: What equipment do you have in your studio?:

[i:Vibes]: You guys are more known for your producing than your DJ sets, are
there any tour dates set for the coming months?:

TG: We have some set's planned in the U.K in the coming months, you can get more
info from our official website www.futuresoundcorporation.com ! you can also
contact our booking dept from this website.

[i:Vibes]: You have a number of remixes under your belt now, which would you
prefer doing, your own productions?.. or remixing someone elses work?:

TG: We feel that both is as important as each other because we can give our own
personal touch to the works of others.

[i:Vibes]: For someone that is about to see a Trance Generators DJ set, what
would you tell them to expect from your set?:

TG: The T.G set is full of energy which is connected to the crowd in a big way.
We love to talk to them after recieving their feedback and finding out about
them.

[i:Vibes]: One of the most controversial matters in the music industry is ofcourse 'MP3'. What are your views on the subject?, Do you think that they have helped you and the music scene in the sense that more people can familiarize themselves with music that they couldnt have known about before?, or do you think that they are a bad thing?:

TG: We think that it can help us to show case our work, but at the same time, we do lose money. But like we said, its not a problem because we do this for the music!!!!

[i:Vibes]: And finally, is there anything else that you would like to say to all
the Trance Generators fans out there?:

TG: We would like to thank the fans in the U.K for the support and we realy
hope to meet them at the future party's:
oh and...." LET YOUR DREAMS FOLLOW THE BEAT OF THE TRANCE GENERATORS".

So, there we have it, its hard to believe that a duo with such a hard edge, could be such nice guys. But dont let that fool you, as like the TG's said, they have a tour coming up very soon, and will be ripping bass-cones, and tearing eardrums, so dont forget to check the Trance Generators online home www.futuresoundcorporation.com for all the upcoming tour dates, and info on the eagerly awaited debut album 'Banging Sounds'.

Id personally like to thank both Ben DJ and Radium and also Simon J Bergher, for their time
