Pioneers of hard trance/acid trance Tracid Traxxx reveal plans of a change in style in this somewhat suprising announcement.
Dear Tracid Traxxx fans,
you might have been wondering, why Tracid traxxx has not released a 12" since a long time.
We are, to be honest, not so happy about the Italians and Dutch in in the nearest future also french and even some German (formerly mellow trance oriented labels) who have copied the typical Tracid Traxxx style so perfectly and formed it to what now is called "Hardstyle". All the TTX artist did not want to react on those copies and therefor they did not want to release anything.
we have been creative in the meantime, the artist tried a lot, tested it and the result is:
QUALITY can be the only alternative. Even though it seems that people do not appreciate quality techno these days. we do. And we hope some more people will join us. So a hot autumn starts with
TTX2044 - Emmanuel Top "Mars" incl Asem Shama (Vanguard) Rmx (scheduled for September 2003)
TTX2045 - Kenji Ogura vs Melanie Di Tria "Kreissäge 2" incl Robert Natus Remix (Scheduled for October 2003)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the statement TTX released just recently regarding why Tracid Traxxx have been a little bit unheard of of recent times.
TTX reveal theyre new techno approach after stating that theyre style is no longer theyre own. If you have heard spin anytime over the last few months you will have noticed a very clear techno or tech-trance influence in all of his sets, so perhaps this will give us an idea of what we can expect from the german big boys in the not too distant future.
Techno big name Emmanuel Top establishes a more solid relationship with the master of hard trance with his first solo release on the label. Emmanuel Top is due for release next month after what has been a lengthy break in TTX releases. Not only this, but also announced is a very exciting follow up to the acid trance ultra anthem 'Kreissäge'. Kenji Ogura & Melanie Di Tria return with the very intriguing 'Kreissäge 2', with Robert Natus on the remix this is sure to be a long two month wait before we can expect to see this in she shops.
I personally am very excited to see what Tracid Traxxx has in store for us, and hopefully they can go from being hard trance/acid trance pioneers, to being amongst the creme of the crop on the techno circuit, I wish them every success with they're decisions.
