Played by Paul Van Dyke a few weeks ago, this summer trance track should warm up your record bag nicely as a cool and catchy warm-up track. Excuse the pun, ahem! Read On…
Pedro Del Mar - Mayela [Promo] Played by PvD a while back in his Nature one set, nice track for the summer times. We all are familiar with Pedro Del Mar, and if not, then should be. Pedro Del Mar’s work has been around for quite some time, in fact I have many of his productions and remixes, somewhere. This latest creation mixes the sublime sounds of 1999 with new age feel and sophistication. Don’t get me wrong, as I’m about to deliberately contradict myself here by saying that this track as a whole is quite simplistic in its ways. We begin with a nice crisp Rank 1 beat and bass with ear catching percussions which make you feel that simple is best, in this case anyway. Nothing much comes nor goes throughout the introduction until the breakdown. Yet again we see simplistic sounds, keeping to a 1999 feel with certain newer ideas taken from the modern age. For the track to kick off in full power we are lacking the more than common epic build-ups or effects and percussions, which are almost expected, instead we get progressing synths and a quick and easy, straight into motion affair. At the tracks peak we still keep to simplicity, which makes this a very nice warm-up track with not too much going on, but enough to keep you listening and bopping your heads too. The track is also nice to mix with, and some crafty tracks can be pulled, as always with a simple track.
Conclusion:
A nice track to add to your collection...
