With an array of successful recordings.. Have Liquid Recordings got another quality release on their hands? Their latest potential release is currently out on a test pressing!
A: 'O'Class (Original) A moderate kick with some interesting echoey percussion this seems pretty easy going at first. After a few bars the track starts to build up nicely and a typical 4 strings type synth is introduced playing a very simple but 'nice' melody. Nothing much more happens with this really... its got a kind of chilled feel to it and I would consider it an easy dancing track.. probably used as a filler between top notch productions... Not too exciting but definitely worth a listen!
B: 'O'Class (Club Mix) This remix has a little bit more to it than the original. There's the introduction of some nice effects including some extremely synthy sounding choir vocals that have to be heard to be understood. During the breakdown the melody is played very softly avoiding the popular '4 strings' type synth as used in the original. The main build-up in this really is quite powerful... Taking you from a very calm and peaceful environment building into something that sounds / feels kind of emotional in a strange but good way.
Conclusion:
Although the original wasn't anything special I really took a liking to the club remix which I'm sure will get the plays that it deserves in the right clubs!
