Another hard trance release with a very catchy melody riff thats sure to get the crowds going on the dancefloor...
A: We Want To Be Free (Original)
Starting off with a nice comforting hard beat you can instantly tell this is going to be something with a good hard edge to it. Great use of effects at the beginning of this as it starts to build up. Soothing underlying synths are soon introduced before the beat softens up in preparation for a really nice crisp melody riff as part of the initial break down.. the melody builds up and that wonderful hard beat is introduced again co-insiding with the matured melody that was introduced in the initial breakdown. This is definately something I could imagine myself dancing to in a club, more than likely from a DJ who likes to play the harder edged kinda stuff such as Marco V or Fergie.
B: We Want To Be Free (Club Mix) This remix has a nice twist to it. The sound has more of a funky feel to it making it more of a popular club track hence the 'club' remix. The interesting effects in the original version are replaced with additional synths which help to give a fuller sound with a slight uplifting quality to it.The wonderfull riff is still there and introduced into the start of quite a powerful breakdown which is done really well!
Conclusion:
Well produced with a really good unique melody riff in there. Should make it to some well known DJ's boxes!! Personally I find it hard to choose between the original and club mix.
