Another release from the quality Liquid Recordings label based in Holland. Its always worth checking out what they have to offer!
Another release from the quality Liquid Recordings label based in Holland. Its always worth checking out what they have to offer!
A: Weekend Wonder (Deg Mix)
Starting off very gentle... slowly building up with some nice trance riffs.. this production has a very punchy beat and precise clap that go quite well together. Builds up to quite a full dance trance type of sound. The initial melody is quite short simple repeating after every bar. The breakdown comes in with the extended version of the melody alongside some nice synths. It doesn't develop much further than that but its a good steady track easy to dance to with your average type of 'Trance' sound.
B: Weekend Wonder (4 AM Mix) Instantly feeling a harder than the Deg Mix, This remix starts out with a much fuller sound. There's some fantastic underlying synths and effects as the track progresses with its strong beat and bassline. The melody is the same but with a much more original sound to it which comes across a lot better than in the Deg mix. The build-up is more moving and powerful with a nice climax at the end of it just asking for a crowded dance floor to explode.
Conclusion:
The 4AM Mix definitely makes this record worth buying. A quality production which I'll be sure to include in my own sets.
