Atb is back again. As far as I can remember, the last ATB release had an amazing remix by 'Steve Murano' included on the vinyl. Steve Murano is not remixing on this vinyl but I sure hope he is if the track is released at another stage! This is definitly worth a look anyway though, not revolutionary, but still a nice piece of trance. Read On...
ATB - The DJ/Sunset Girl [Promo]
ATB - Sunset Girl [Limited Clubb Mix] ATB - In Love With The DJ [New Vocal Clubb Mix]
ATB - Sunset Girl [Limited Clubb Mix] [08.27] ATB has done a few changes within his overall style in the last two years, going from commercial stardom to underground perfection. This latest offering is now seeing ATB enter the more uplifting side of trance. This production is a lot more uplifting and less chilled than his last few releases. The style reminds me of artists such as Ferry, Mat Darey & Armin Van Buuren. Vocals are totally absent here, instead, we hear nice melodies and great piano stylee riffs. Nothing too spectacular in fact. Very listenable and a track thats nice to play before the club gets busy, or even just a nice track to stick on while doing journies in your car. Not a great quality track, but also not bad quality track if you understand...
ATB - In Love With The DJ [New Vocal Clubb Mix][06.48] Now this track is definitly more ATB style, included is ATB's regual vocalist of recent, and after the basic intro we get the vocals alone but then he brings in the usual style ATB kick, bass and other such elements which are included on the first part of his tracks. When we get to the break we are surprised to hear a strong anologue synth sound, which actually fits this track almost perfectly, after a few seconds we are re-introduced to the vocals over the synth. Finally we get a small buildup which brings us into the main section of the track which peaks nicely. After this over the peak he brings back in slight but suttle vocal elements. This track is also quite a short mix so not much mixing will be involved in bringing it in and out of your set.
Conclusion:
Overall its a nice piece of non-commercial vocal trance. This production wont hit any new ideas or such, but its a nice track to have if you like vocal trance. The other track on this vinyl accompanies it nicely which makes the overall vinyl a decent package. Purchase if you like ATB. Dont buy it if you are looking for something revolutionary to trance!
