After its massive success on the Mac-platform it is now also possible for Windows-users to download legal music at a reasonable price from iTunes.
Late last night Steve Jobs presented what he calls the best ever application written for Microsoft Windows, Apple's iTunes MusicStore. From today Windows users can take advantage of the big music-library and download songs legally at a reasonable price of 99¢ per track.
So far over 13 million songs have been downloaded since April 28th and they now expect a boost in sales when they open this up for Windows users too.
The record-selection seems to be a bit limited so far but hopefully iTunes will get agreements with some good trance, house and techno labels soon.
PS! The biggest drawback so far is that you need a US billing address to be able to buy anything at all.
