As a follow up to 'Dirt Devils - The Drill', the Dirt Devils have found a new sound flavour which, is sure to take the dance floors by storm...
Music Is Life (Original) Featuring some fantastic funky electro vocals, 'Music Is Life' is an awesome funky production with great chunky beats making it a fantastic track to dance to. Starting off with a few bars of beat and percussion loops, this slowly builds up introducing the vocal samples then dropping into the break down with a nice soothing synth sound soon followed by those funky electro sounds that bring the track back up again into something that would take control over your body on the dance floor. There's a good variety of little effects and samples throughout this production helping to make that funky sound ever stronger.
Music is Life (Dirt Devils Twisted Mix) The beat isn't quite as chunky in this remix but the overall pace is a lot faster! The funky vocals are still there but pitched up a little. There's some new Trance Type synths introduced helping to give a production possibly more appealing to the bigger clubs / DJ's. The breakdown starts of very similar to the original but soon builds into something a lot stronger with a much bigger explosion of energy.
Music Is Life (Jono Grant vs POS Remix) The original production was a great funky track, the Dirt Devils own Twisted Remix improved upon it still making it an absolutely superb trance type production. This third remix again comes across as something a little different than the others with an absolutely fantastic uplifting quality to it! The samples, synths and effects all come together so wonderfully.. I can just feel myself submerging into a dance floor packed with hundreds of other clubbers getting high of the fabulous uplifting sound that this remix has to offer.
Conclusion:
This latest production from the Dirt Devils is certainly something a bit different and doesn't follow the usual trend of trance / dance that's most commonly released these days. The (Jono Grant vs POS Remix will certainly be a hit with all the big names.
