Discover is back after John Askew´s Skylab with two productions by Pablo Gargano, the founder of Eve Records. This Discover EP debut has Arcana & Osho, two diverse songs taking us on a journey beyond this planet…
Arcana starts off quite simple, but transforms soon enough in a full on trancer that’s bound to do damage on the dancefloor. This is just the tip of the iceberg, because soon after the wonderful intro, you get the breakdown which is saturated with piano chords. It’s so subtle that this just HAS to work. The combination of piano & trance elements has always worked and this is not an exception. Great song!
On the flip we find Osho. This starts off on a different note: much harder, much more driving, the bassline says it all! The melody is much more present in Osho, and that will make sure that this songs is just not a b song, but an equally good a song. Osho has just hat edge over Arcana, making this my favorite of the two. What more do you want from a track that gets this comment from John 00 Fleming: Great to see this name back in my record reviews…..ahhh takes me back to the days of Trance when it was Trance on Eve releases 1, 2 & 3. Pablo has been around for a long time and knows his stuff. Forever innovating the way forward and re-inventing himself as he has done with this, his latest single. Do I sense him moving back to the old energetic Pablo that we all loved…I hope so.
Conclusion:
Both songs are very good, but Osho has that little bit more, making it stand out. Don't hesitate to get this!!
