Mind One appears on ATCR to deliver a mind blowing uplifting trancer that is surely destined to be massive!
This latest ATCR offering by producder Matthias Max a.k.a. Mind One comes in two similar flavours - "Pulser's UK Vocal Mix" and the "Mind One Original Instrumental".
:: Mind One Feat. Rena - Star For Me :: ATCR :: TCOM032
Label: Pulser's UK Vocal Mix On the label side is the Pulser mix. A masterful blend of beat, synth and a really nice female vocal make for an excellent piece of trance. It starts with a clean, crisp beat and a neat little bass line which are almost becoming trademark for Pulser's quality remixes and productions. An uplifting synth that quietly teases you with the main melody is brought in and carries you along until it gives way to introduce the vocal. Next comes an ambient hands-in-the-air breakdown, beckoning in the vocal once again, which in turn beckons in that uplifting synth which pushes you blissfully into the main body of the track. Soon you're given a short breather as the main synth drops out and is built up again to burst into the final part of this excellent track, before it begins its wind down. I've mentioned before how vocals can easily steer a track down the 'cheesey' path, but here Pulser has crafted together all the best elements of the uplifting, vocal and trance sounds.
Info: Mind One's Original Instrumental Mix On the Info side of this record, is the Mind One Instrumental. This has some similarities to the Pulser mix, but it also has some of its own defining features. A couple of minutes into the track, instead of the main synth appearing, another sound is introduced - a much more mellow, 'chilled ibiza' backing - similar to the kind of thing you'd expect to hear on a Chicane track. One gently ambient breakdown later and the synth makes an appearance. Its slightly more epic sounding than the one used in the Pulser mix which is nice because it creates a difference between the main parts of both mixes and it also contrasts nicely with the 'chilled ibiza' backing introduced earlier. Another more mellow trancey section follows, which repeats before giving way to that gorgeous synth in a mini breakdown then jumping back into action for a few more minutes before the track begins to end.
So there you have it. Two tracks of equal strength and quality, each with their own splashes of uniqueness to earn them rightful peak time, main room positions.
Conclusion:
Overall, what you have here is two versions of an absolutely brilliant track. Here is proof that Trance is very much alive. This one will be massive and deservedly so! Well done Mind One, Pulser and ATCR!
