This is the 3rd release on Galactive Records, released as the follow up for Empyreal Sun and Re:Locate. Primo Lux is a new talented, young producer called Petri Suhonen from Finland. Get ready for a new beauty, that will take you into a journey back to the classical year of 1999.
There are two sides on this vinyl, check this out:
A1. Turnpoint
B1. Chains
'Turnpoint' starts with crawly bassline and melody sounds all over it, slightly enters and slightly goes. Melodies are growing and growing!! The main melody is fading from the background. Like a storm it's getting stronger and stronger with more layers and transformers! the atmosphere is insane - The breakdown entered; the main melody covered with these amazing, sweet layers, never ending; silence... and here is the 'turn point' so uplifiting, so melodic. Gigantic anthem for the dance floors! 10/10 with no doubt.
The B side called 'Chains' - starts with many lifts already! An in and out melody covered with a driving bassline. Strong like a beast, getting calmer till the breakdown takes place. The main melody gets in, haven't heard anything like this since '99. This guy knows the deal, melodic sounds with smooth leads and harmonic layers. An ear candy!! 8/10
Conclusion:
The first time I heard this massiva was on DJ Elusive set 'Nu Trance Generation' what an experience it was! Yet another Fundamental / Galactive sweety!
