Monthly Resident DJ at Passion, Sensoria, Escape, Hotdog & Radio Broadcasts on Trance Air Waves, Global DJ Broadcast, BPM Radio, Soundstation & more, Andy brings us an update!
Well the past 4 weeks have been as busy as ever. Some massive leaps forward in my DJing career and lots more promising signs for the future. Here is a quick overview of the goings on in my world!!
The Label TRR (Trance Revolution Recordings) is the label that Genix and I have started up. The website (www.tr-recordings.co.uk) launched last week, and from the mailout to people in the industry, we had an over-whelming amount of support. The final stages to TRR001 are being put into place and we are looking at a release date in Jan 2004. Promo's will be floating around to key players before X-mas.
The Productions As you may know, Oracle is the alias that Genix and I go under for our collaboration productions. "The One", our first tune, has been signed to Equilibrium Records and is due for release within the next few months. We've had a massive amount of support and plays from many DJ's including Guy Ornadel, Pulser, Misja Helsloot, Simon Patterson (Dogzilla), Luke Neville and many more. "Aries", our second venture, will be released on TRR very soon in the New Year with a Shane 54 Refill! Watch this space for more news.
The ClubsIn the past few months I've been spinning at a few new nights as well as many of my regular monthly residency clubs, and playing along such stars as Judge Jules, Matt Hardwick, Signum, SHOKK, John 00 Fleming, Simon Patterson, BK, Guy Ornadel, JFK, Marc West and more. My diary is pretty busy now for the next few months with some great new nights coming up.
Radio My monthly radio show on Trance Air Waves has been going very well. I've had so much good feedback from people hearing my latest set, that it is now available to download from my website. I had a mix on Global DJ Broadcast aired in November but unfortunately there was a bit of a mix-up and only bits of it went out. I will be doing another mix for GDJB hopefully before the end of the year. Another debut set was broadcast this month on Soundstation 351, a Portuguese online radio show which I shall now be doing once a month.
General News Since Judge Jules announced me as his "Best Undiscovered DJ" in this years DJ Mag Top 100 poll, My agency - Nu Star - have been contacted by many new clubs for recent demo's of mine. There are already some very exciting gigs being lined up for early 2004. If you would like to enquire about booking me, go to www.nu-star.net and use the contact page to e-mail Rich. My gig at Goodgreef scheduled for 29th November has unfortunately been cancelled due to the venue being closed down. I will hopefully be playing at Goodgreef very soon in the New Year. New Years Eve line-ups are now flying around so you may know that I will be DJing exclusively at Passion for New Year.
Well that's a bit about me for this month... Just finish off with a Top 10..
