Above and Beyond are busy people these days, not only do they have a new radio show to go on MOS but also some other new things. Read on for the full details
NEW ABOVE & BEYOND RADIO SHOW STARTING TOMORROW AT 8PM ON MINISTRY OF SOUND RADIO
Leading trance producers/remixers/DJ's "Above & Beyond" kick off a new Tuesday night show on Ministry of Sound Radio on January 13th between 20.00 and 22.00 pm GMT (21.00-23.00 CET). The show will be a lively mix of the latest and greatest tunes from the world of trance and progressive, interspersed with lively banter from the three Above & Beyond¹ers Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki. This is the team that's responsible for two Madonna remixes, plus side projects such as OceanLab, Dirt Devils, P.O.S, Nitromethane and Tranquility Base.
The boys will keep you up to date with important DJ dates and release news, interviews from their showbiz mates in the studio and on the phone, plus guest mixes from the likes of Paul van Dyk, Marcus Schulz and Mirco de Govia.
There will be some exciting regular features such as "Unsung Hero", showcasing the wealth of unknown talent bubbling under the well known names, together with a web vote, record of the week and several as yet uninvented special features. The fortnightly show is sure to be essential listening for people around the world, whether they are having low fat lunch in LA, high cholesterol supper in Moscow or Maori Muesli for breakfast in New Zealand.

OCEANLAB ŒSATELLITE¹ - THE BUZZ KEEPS ON BUILDING
Already one of the biggest vocal trancers of 2004 and threatening to cross over to the mainstream airwaves, Oceanlab ŒSatellite¹ seems to have captured the imagination of all the top jocks, including Radio 1¹s Judge Jules and Dave Pearce, Kiss 100¹s Tall Paul and ID&T radio regular Armin Van Buuren.
The tune, which features a Markus Schulz rework alongside the Original Above & Beyond mix, reaped havoc on the world¹s dancefloors over the festive season and has just entered this week¹s Cool Cuts chart at number 10.
Meanwhile our Oceanlab remix competition (deadline Jan 15) has attracted over 1500 downloads and the winner will be announced in early Feb.

Ministry of Sound Radio have also handed a monthly radio show to Anjunabeats and Lost Language A&R's James Grant and Ben Lost. The Runa Sessions is a celebration of quality progressive and melodic trance, delivering two hours of the finest music in the genre. Ben and James use their strong contacts in the producer world to bring you the very latest new tunes, as well as interviews with the cream of trance and prog. Key musical influences for the show include the likes of James Holden, Leama & Moor, Gabriel & Dresden, Markus Schultz, Solar Stone and Above & Beyond (obviously!).
