The mighty, talented Swiss producer, Andy Prinz is behind this massive production made specially to DJ Greenhead. Vocals done by a local Swiss band (Dub release though). Yet another melodic tune? Read on.
There are 2 releases of this record, one signed to Godskitchen UK and the second on Drizzly Records - this review will relate to the first mentioned.
There are two sides on this vinyl, check this out:
A1. Original Non Vocal Mix B1. Hiver and Hammer Remix
The A side start with calm effects and smooth layers and a tight kick. You can sense the melodic atmosphere in the very early start. Happy and uplifting sounds keep you in the right mood - followed by emotional leads, you'll have a smile on your face! Breakdown, climax strings covered with those dreamy sounds; the piano enters - beautiful! The main melody slightly came in the background then we have those breaks - amazing piece of art.
The B side is no other than the remix of the German duo Hiver & Hammer. Dark bass line with soft hats, but this is getting stronger - harsh syntheses makes you groove. A strong release with great leads and the familiar melody from the original piece. Calming breakdown, all the sounds gone away - then without warning mad synths coming over, getting much more powerful with the crashing breaks, this is insane. The 2nd breakdown has arrived, the main melody is twisting in your head, a massiva!
We sure can except alot more from these artists, as Andy and Greenhead made remixes for 'Diver & Ace - It's not over now' which is due to release on 28th of May 2004 in Off-shore Music!
Conclusion:
Before listening this vinyl, I felt there is gonna be a continue to Andy Prinz line, but no I was wrong - he surprised once again with something a little different. When you listen to this tune you are like 'crystal', when the climax points arrives you are breaking apart.
