Theres a lot going on at Spinnin' Records this month - with a growing list of sub-labels and a strong artist profile it is a very busy and productive time...
There will be quite a few releases from Spinnin' Records over the course of this month which cover a nice variety of styles.
Track: Alegria – La Luna Label: SPR Cat. #: SPR003 Released: 02-02-04
Alegria - La Luna is the follow-up to the very popular ‘Cuba Libre’. This massive follow-up takes up the same style as ‘Cuba Libre’ - tech-groove at its finest. It is receiving plays from a wide range of DJs including House jocks R. Sanchez and Danny Rampling, Trance jock Judge Jules and even by Techno jock Monika Kruse.

Back To Basics: and how! This different sounding Tech-Trancer by 4 Strings is dominating the dance floors at the moment. Comments from various big names include: Armin Van Buuren: "The crowd is going insane on this track, mega bomb!" Paul Van Dyk: "Love this new 4 Strings" Johan Gielen: "One of the best 4 Strings records ever!!!" Above & Beyond: "This is absolutely great!" Dave Pearce: "Superb!" This one has been updated by Mac Zimms and is will be unleashed again on the 2Play label. “Horny Horns” was in various singles charts all over the world including the Top 20 in the UK (Positiva). It was also chosen to be the best club track of 1999 in Holland. The new mixes received several plays during the Dutch mega-festival ‘Trance Energy’ and had some big crowd reactions. The 2004 release includes two mixes: the Mac Zimms Remix and the Club Mix.
Track: Randy Katana – One Solid Wave Label: Reset Records Cat. #: RS001 Released: 16-02-04
‘One Solid Wave’ has a different sound to previous Katana productions. Tribal meets Trance, Trance meets Progressive and Progressive meets Techno. The record is one of the biggest hypes in DJ-land at the moment. It is receiving incredible support from a whole host of big names: Armin Van Buuren: "Playing this track for 3 month’s in almost all sets" Paul van Dyk: "Superb, love both sides, full support!!!" Ferry Corsten: "Very strong production, love both sides, full support!" Judge Jules: "Monster track" Marco V: "The crowd loves it! Bomb!" Sam Sharp is responsible for an amazing tech-trance remix which is also heavily supported by the above mentioned jocks.
Track: Sam Sharp - Twister Label: RR Recordings Cat. #: RR020 Released: 23-02-04
After doing a lot of remix work for the likes of Ron Van Den Beuken, E-Craig and Tatana Vs. The Mystery, this is Sam Sharp's debut release under his own name. On this record you will find the Original Mix (co-produced by RvdB) and the Sam Sharp Remix. This is also being heavily supported by a vast number of big name DJs: Judge Jules, Johan Gielen, Blank & Jones, Eddie Halliwell, Ferry Corsten, The Thrillseekers, Pulser, Lange, Adam Sheridan, Simon Patterson, Misja Helsloot, Cor Fijneman, Tom Harding, Adam White, Anthony Dean, Ton TB, Du Monde, Graham Gold, DJ Astrid, John Askew, Matt Darey, Ernesto Vs.
