One of 2001's biggest tunes was Joy Kitikonti's Joyenergizer, which was played by just about every big name deejay. This is a remake of the famous tune. What parts does it use from the original?, What has changed?, Well Read On To Find Out!
In 2001, Joyenergizer was played by just about every big name DJ on the planet. Just about everyone remembers the breakdown. You either loved it or you hated it and almost 3 years later, it still provokes opinions among music fans. This is the remake of the famous classic.
Retox ? Joy Energized (White Label)
A1- Joy Energized
Some will label this Hard House, some will label this Hard Dance, some will label this trance. It contains many elements of hard house, trance and hard dance. The song starts slowly with a really nice bassline. The main part kicks in very early to the song and tends to carry the tune. It has a hard house bassline with a trancy riff that drives the song. Most remakes are annoying but this is an exception. I disliked the original song and never saw why deejays played it but this is better. The trancy riff has this addictive and unique melody that will gain the tune, a lot of fans. It breaks down and you hear the famous pap pap noises, that made it so loved by many in 2001. The pap pap noises are a bit faster this time around and that?s the only part of the song that you have heard before. It will still make certain people cringe because it made big fans out of certain people and made some enemies of others. Personally I would take the melody of this song and the main parts without the joy energizer parts because I feel it would make a decent song on it?s own. The melody and bassline continue in the same mold and it grows on you, probably because of the addictive hook in this song. The song breaksdown again and gives you the famous joyenergizer part again but it is just not as long. Then back to the main part till the end of the song
Conclusion:
I disliked the original but this remake was good. I liked the main melody and the trancy riff and I think that was the song?s strongpoint. Some people will avoid this because of joyenergizer but if you liked the original song or like remakes then definitely check this out. It is not the greatest remake of all time but it is strong enough that many deejays will be playing this out in the upcoming months, if they are not playing it already. I like it and if it could make a believer out of me then it could probably make a believer out of you.
