Want to know everything about DuMonde's newest projects, releases, albums, and even a new sublabel? Read on to get updated!
JamX (Jurgen Mutschall) and De-Leon (Dominik de Leon) have been quite busy it seems as of late. Let's sum up all the news we have for you:
- A new DuMonde EP will be released on F8T Recordings within a month or so. Tracks featured on this piece of vinyl are Kalt / Cold and Ich Will Raus / Let Me out. Kalt / Cold has already been put on OXA's Trancenight 9 compilation, featuring some German vocals and a nice guitar melody. Be sure to check this out when it gets a release!
- Secondly, there will probably be a new EP under their JamX & De-Leon guise. Tracks on it will most likely be a 2004 remake for New Order - Blue Monday (JamX & De-Leon ft. New Order - Blue Monday 2004) and a track called `You Ain`t Seen Nothing Yet'. The last one has already been spun by the guys in a few livesets, and sounds very experimental. A highly catchy melody driven by a deep bassline and some typical DuMonde percussion is what we can expect here.
- DuMonde is also working hard on a `The Best of Remixes` album and an own artist-album. The artist album will be out somewhere in May, together with a new track called DuMonde vs. Nostrum - Brainchild 2004.
- A new sublabel for F8T tunes has been formed as well: Access Tunes. First release on this new sub is a high-paced techy hardtrancer called `Alias - Elements`, produced by DuMonde themselves. Be sure to check it!
As most of us know by now, DuMonde's remix for the immense Rank 1 - Symsonic has been released as a Part II vinyl on ID&T Records as well now. This seems to have been one of the most anticipated tracks of the last few months, cause it took the vinyl like 16 months to hit the shelves.
As a conclusion, DuMonde has been booked for several large events like Qontact (29 April, 2004, Amsterdam), DefQon 1 (19 June, 2004, Almere-Strand) and the OXA Streetparade (03 July, 2004, CH)
