Watch the professionals at work. Andre Tanneberger (ATB) and Woody van Eyden set up a producer school.
What happens when two experienced, successful music producers and songwriters like André Tanneberger aka ATB and Woody van Eyden sit down together and talk about the future of the music industry and how to promote young talent?
They develop a concept for how they can pass on the knowledge of modern music production, which they have picked up and developed over the years, to others and how they can use it to promote talent. The result is the foundation of a very special institution: A producer school!
The school called “SEAP - School for Engineering and Audio Producing” is unlike any previous setup because it is not just directed at those who are looking for a professional career in the music business, but also at those who want to perfect their hobby and break through their previous musical and technical production limitations. The new idea behind this school is also the staff, who have all been involved in successful projects and pass on their knowledge from their studio work and live performances to the students. The focus of the training course is working out individual strengths, promoting talent, training ears as well as the speed and the effectiveness of producing. The participants are taught about all technical areas of a professional audio studio with a special focus on practice. So that this knowledge does not go to waste, legal and marketing courses are also included in the course at the SEAP.
After a 3-month course (basic programme), the graduate will be given a participation certificate. This certificate is also required for participation in the follow-up premium course. The special attraction here is that the SEAP patrons, Andre Tanneberger and Woody van Eyden, personally share their skills and experiences and thus actively accompany various areas of the lessons to make their knowledge available to the participants. This is, of course, related to the hope to find promising talents and promote them! High-profile guest speakers from the fields of music law and tax will also give lectures.
The premium course leading to the SEAP diploma is completed with a final exam. The lessons during the course consist of theory and practice. The theory lessons lay the foundations for the practical side which is taught in professional and modern well-equipped studios. Attending the SEAP therefore not only provides new knowledge and improved skills, it also provides the opportunity to be discovered and promoted by experienced, successful musicians and producers from the industry. A chance that you should not miss out on.
