Anjuna Beats put out a rare single sided 12” here with the excellent track by 2 proven artists – Jono Grant (1 third of Above & Beyond) and Mike Koglin. Coming with just the Original Mix so far, a remix is expected soon ready for the release version.
Original Mix: The track starts with a nice deep techy feel with dirty rasping sounds pushing through. This adds to the mood of the track as it builds up into the initial break where a beautiful chorus of pads give us a taste of what is on the way. As a filtered kick starts up the pads swell and it kicks back in with maximum effect. The track progresses with a series of individual stabs which heighten the mood. It drops back into those techy rasps with great smoothness until it builds back into another lush break. After this we’re treated to another section of pacey uplifting trance taking us through to the end.
Conclusion:
Another solid release from the Anjuna camp with a track that will appeal to many different styles of DJ. Techy yet uplifting works very well here. Another one that is getting great reactions from airplay! Great stuff!!
