Armada are the label that seem to cover every angle of Music at the minute!! This is one from the Progressive Trance area and what a track from Mark Otten. The awesome Marcus Schulz remixes here as well to show why he is also one of the hottest properties around at the minute!!
Original: A breakbeat intro leads us into a solid kick entwined with excellent fx. As the track progresses, the sounds grow and move making this a track that you can’t help but dance to. The break comes in with pads and sounds working in perfect harmony with each other. As the break builds up, more fx swell till the kick takes the track up a level. An excellent track which although dark and a bit moody, still manages to be uplifting and driving.
Marcus Schulz Remix: Marcus turns his hand at this to maximum effect! His typical deep basslines and dark sounds turn this into an awesome piece of progressive music. Marcus’ style is very unique and this again, stands out. Using the original rift, there is a different take on the overall sound. Although still being deep, this mix is maybe a little more uplifting than the Original!?! However you interpret the sound of Marcus Schulz, you’re sure to be impressed by this track.
Conclusion:
Armada once again prove their quality to find excellent music with this track. Marks’ quality as a producer shines through on this and is backed up by an awesome Marcus Schulz Remix. A great package for the Trance DJ with 2 very versatile tracks.
