Ace Da Brain is Andreas Schmidt, the man behind Pervading Call, Ace's Delight, Sonic Inc. and loads of other tasty projects. Last year's 'Mental Theme' was seen as the record of the year by many, and now there is a follow-up for it.. read on!
'Mental Theme' made it to the 18th spot in Armin's A State Of Trance Top 20 of 2003, and it certainly earned that. A beautiful break followed by an immense melody is just something us trancelovers are waiting for. Another track by him, Pervading Call - 'Destiny', was released in January 2004 and seen as one of the most powerful trance tracks of the past months. Check out the review here. We've also done an extensive interview with him, check it out here
In May, Ace will be back with a brand new 2-track vinyl. The Details:
Artist: Ace Da Brain Title: Tales of Dusk and Dawn Label: Venom Recordings Labelcode: VENOM004 Releasedate: May 6, 2004
Tracks: A - Sunrise (Ace's Delight Mix) - Sample (right-click, save as) AA - Sunset (Ace Da Brain Mix) - Sample (right-click, save as)
As you can probably see and hear, Ace has continued with his tradition in bringing a superb melodic trancer on the A-side of the vinyl, with a more dark and banging track on the AA-side.
You can expect a review of this record at the time of release. This is gonna be HUGE the coming month, so be sure to check it out!
