New mp3 jukebox from Apple crackles and freezes during songs. Apple seems to have made a flaw with their leading MP3 player? Read on...
The new iPod mini music player has been slammed by dozens of owners for its crackly sound. They say the hi-tech jukebox - a smaller, cheaper version of the iPod also distorts tunes and stops mid-song. One told ipod users website ipodlounge.com. 'After two weeks of gentle use it started to make a horrible static noise', 'Sometimes the sound will dissapear completly'.
The £137 iPod Mini, which stores 1,000 tunes, was launched in the US in Febuary and arrives in Europe in July. Makers Apple admitted some owners had suffered problems and urged them to call its helpline. More than 1,000,000 iPods which hold 10,000 songs have been sold worldwide since 2001.
Hopefully Apple will fix the problems for new and existing iPod Mini owners sometime soon!
