If you like your trance hard and acidic, you'll no doubt be familiar with A*S*Y*S who have just released this awesome double sider on tracid traxx!

A1 No More Fuckin' Rock and Roll

Starting off with a heavy kick and electric guitar riff, we gradually build up to the beginning of the madness. Those people familiar with Voodoo People will instantly recognise this, and if you're a fan like I am, it'll be a good reason to remember it! Approaching 2 minutes, an eerie pad comes in, very haunting and evil sounding, and we're ready for the acidic melody, stabbing in like Voodoo People with a couple of note changes here & there. Building up, the noise of a backspun record helps us into the vocal, No More... Fucking.. Rock and Roll.... Fuck Rock.. and we're go for the main bit, hands in the air time! Next comes the best bit, with an electric guitar and an awesome breakbeat section, really aggressive and hitting the spot with great ferocity. Pounding beats and the amazing guitar take us on, with the acidic line joining in the party, and it's time for the outro section, but what a tune, like me you'll probably want to play it straight over again!

B1 Storm & Thunder

Starting off a bit less hectic than before, a kick and snare are joined by the sound of a mobile phone by speakers... you all know what I mean! This tweaks on for a bit, giving an electric feeling about it, and a huge loud bassline comes in too, intertwining with it and suddenly the kick joins us, impressively electric sounding, which you'd expect in a storm. The voice, Storm & Thunder comes in, and a clap of thunder follows, followed by a huge acid line, driving on at what seems like 300mph like an aeroplane ready to take off. The phone noise joins us again, but less loud this time, letting the ac id take centre stage before taking over, with a huge pounding kick drum, almost hardcore sounding. The second breakdown leaves us with a more evil sounding track, after the acid is joined by a typically A*S*Y*S sounding element, adding to the nasty feeling that is intended.

Conclusion:
If you're a fan of acid & hard trance, or even if you're not, you will be astounded by the quality within these tracks.. awesome, sinister, chilling...
