The guys from Signum seem to have been rather busy as of lately. Ever wanted to know about a new project, new remixes, their DJ-dates or perhaps their current top 10? Read on to find out...
First of all, April 26th will be the releasedate for the long-awaited follow-up to 'Push Through'. The new track is called 'Come Around Again' and will be released on Armada/A State Of Trance with a Vocal Extended and a Dub mix.
They've even already finished the official follow-up single, called 'The TimeLord'. It is said to have a big epic melody, reminding us of the trance that came out in 1999. There will also be a special 'Signum's Spectral Balance Mix' for this track, which is more progressive and laidback, not something we're used to from the guys, but definitely something to look forward to.
The new project is called 'Signum-Signal', but not much info has been given out about it yet. All we know is that they've almost finished it, so it will probably see the light within a few months.
The guys have also finished a sparkling new remix for DJ Danjo & Rob Styles - 'Duende', which will be released in June on ID&T Records. It has already been played by DJ Precision and it has a more techy feel to it compared with their previous releases/remixes.
Check this out as well (taken from the Signum website):
We've also finished a remix for a classical track called Dvorak - New World (below here you can read the story behind it).
"Armada has been asked to produce a classical project for a Dutch non-profit organization called Step. This organization stimulates the consumers to buy music.
In April they will start a campaign to promote classical music. They will release 2 CDs. One double CD including original classical pieces and one double CD including Dance tracks which are based on classical tunes.
Jan Vayne and Armin van Buuren recorded 15 classical classics. Jan Vayne is Holland’s most well known piano player. He will be the face behind this project. This album will get a lot of media attention as this is a unique combination between classical music and dance".
Doesn't that sound promising?
Ron and Pascal DJ as well next to producing. Upcoming gigs are one in Room At The Top (Scotland), May 1st, and a gig in the famous Dutch club Asta, Den Haag, on May 8th.
Their current top 10 as a conclusion:
