Following the formation of their new cutting-edge club and album brand AHEAD MUSIC, ex Gatecrasher promoter SCOTT BOND and former Fanatazia front man ANDREW GALLAGHER today announced AHEAD’s first phenomenal foray into clubland with a large-scale cutting edge event at Sheffield’s Adelphi nightclub on the 29th May 2004.
Unleashing pioneering musical styles has always been a trade-mark of BOND and GALLAGHER. The duo are set to shake up the dance world with their own inimitable verve and vigour with a series of fresh new forward thinking club events.
The first event at the Adelphi marks a home coming for BOND and features a monstrous line-up of premier league DJs and artists including HYBRID (live), YAHEL, SCOTT BOND, JAMES HOLDEN, SOLAR STONE, MATT CANTOR (Freestylers), BEN LOST. GALLAGHER and BOND booked the line-up following extensive consultation with clubbers. The duo’s aim is to reinvent the scene and give clubbers what they want both musically and in terms of pioneering and innovative production.
The first AHEAD event will kick-off at Sheffield’s infamous ADELPHI on the 29th May 2004 and continue on the last Saturday of every month with a genre splitting mix of trance, breaks, tech & Psy. The Adelphi already holds a special place in many clubbers hearts and with the plans that BOND and GALLAGHER have in place, will quickly become one of the clubbing calendars premier nights out.
AHEAD’s club launch follows the launch of the brand’s debut album which is due for release on the 10th of May. The album, mixed by SCOTT BOND will showcase many of the hottest future dance tracks of 2004. Featuring PAUL OAKENFOLD, PAUL VAN DYK, CARL COX, FERRY CORSTEN, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, HYBRID and AGNELLI and NELSON to name a few, the AHEAD album is a collection of upfront and unreleased tracks alongside current floor fillers . The duo plan to release six albums per year.
