Smith & Pledger have recently been added to the fold in the DJ Connections camp.

London based music producers and DJs Oliver Smith and Mark Pledger met while at
University and decided to set up a studio together in 2000. Producing trance under
the name of 'Smith & Pledger' the duo have completed remixes for a wide range of
leading labels such as Anjunabeats, Lost Language, DATA, Intensive, Direction,
Incentive, and Mondo.

Their debut single with Gatecrasher's Matt Hardwick entitled 'Day One' received
support from DJs such as Ferry Corsten and John '00' Fleming and was awarded the
titles of 'Future Favourite' and 'Tune of the Week' on the Armin van Buuren radio
show. Smith & Pledger's first solo release 'Forever' was also received with similar
reactions from all the key DJ's in the scene. Their productions have been included
on high profile compilations from Black Hole, Gatecrasher, Ministry of Sound and
many more as well as being released on 12" by the likes of Anjunabeats Records.

Smith & Pledger have had many favourable reviews from the dance press and were
called "one of the biggest things to come out of trance this year" by Mixmag in
September 2003. To date, their remixes and productions have been played by DJs such
as Judge Jules, The Thrillseekers, John Askew, Above & Beyond, Scott Bond, Tiesto
and Paul van Dyk. Furthermore, the duo's tracks have received airplay from Radio 1,
Kiss100 and BBC1 television.

When DJing the pair play melodic yet dance-floor friendly tracks and also feature
their own brand new productions. With a wide range of record releases and DJ gigs
scheduled for 2004 it is set to be a good year for Smith & Pledger.

Matt Hardwick Vs Smith & Pledger "Connected" enters Cool Cuts Chart
After enjoying radio support from Armin Van Buuren, Judge Jules and Markus Schulz,
Smith & Pledger"s latest collaboration with Matt Hardwick – "Connected" – entered
the Cool Cuts chart at 15 last week. The track features Melinda Gareh on vocals and
is set for a release on Anjunabeats on June 1.

Smith & Pledger @ Godskitchen
On the 21st of May Smith & Pledger will be DJing at the world famous Godskitchen.
The pair will be playing alongside Armin Van Buuren. Be there for a taste of some
brand new Smith & Pledger productions plus a great night out.
