Genix Update

It’s been a busy few months as always! With the start of my record label TRR and my production/DJ work I have certainly been kept on my toes. The record label, which is, run by myself and my good friend Andy Bagguley, has had a great start! The first release Havannah – Havannah was a great hit and a perfect way to start things moving, we had support from all the big DJs and radio shows.

We also released our second track, which is a new tune by mine and Andy’s production guise ‘Oracle’ called ‘Aries’. This track has also had great DJ support, and looks like we are going to need another re-press as the records are going down well in the stores!!

The third release on TRR will be Auriane - Soundwave. Auriane is collaboration between Ferruccio Tebaldi and Perry O’neil (Locust). This track also has a remix from myself, which has a great feel to it with its more progressive sounding bass line and big synths. This track will be released in about a month’s time.

Production wise I have started a new guise called ‘Deep Orbit’ for a more downbeat sound. The first track called ‘Air’ has been licensed to the brand new Misja Helsloot compilation titled ‘Back From Your Past’. It has also been signed to KYR records and is currently being remixed by Alex M.O.R.P.H. and Woody Van Eyden.
The second track called ‘Blue Clouds’ has also been signed to KYR records. This has been supported by Markus Shultz and Marc West to name a few.

Last year saw the release of Ozone – Rock on First Second (Gesture Music); this track will be re-released in the summer with a new Oracle remix as well as work from Alex Morph.

Finally I have the next track after Solar Planet, (Sorry its taken so long!!) I have been getting used to my new hardware equipment. This track is called Genix – ReConnected and is being remixed by Factoria who’s recent mix of Electrovoya was a great hit! More info on this soon!

On the DJ side of things the last few months have seen me play many times all across the UK including Fixation, Hotdog, Existence, Baby Passion, Nocturnal, Re:Levate, Engine, to name a few. I also went to Slovenia with ST John (Mind circles) to play at Entranced. This was another great experience to DJ abroad and meet up with Elyxir and Mic –E two of Slovenia’s leading Trance and Hardstyle DJ’s. They run Analogica Productions and I have also remixed their debut track titled Roosty – Global Force.
