As played by Armin, Blank & Jones, and Ferry, this massive vocal trancer is going to get big and bigger than ever!
For those of you who listen to Armin’s ID&T show, “In A State Of Trance”, might have heard this song. The first time I heard this song in the record shop, it gave me goose bumps, and believe me, there aren’t too many songs who can do this.
Tracklisting: • A1: Jan Den Haag vs. Mr. Phillips Mix • A2: Jan Den Haag vs. Mr. Phillips Instrumental Edit • B1: Dark Moon Remix • B2: Pedro Del Mar Remix
A1: Jan Den Haag vs. Mr. Phillips Mix This mix starts of with a nice beat, silent at first, but louder every beat. After about 25 seconds the vocals kick in, and they aren’t cheesy male vocals, but they fit the track very well. After the vocals come the actual melody which isn’t disappointing, but it’s rather good. The whole melody suits the vocals really well.
A2: Jan Den Haag vs. Mr. Phillips Instrumental Edit This mix is actually the same as A1, just without the vocals. This will fit better into a trance set.
B1: Dark Moon Remix For those of you who aren’t familiar with Dark Moon, get Dark Moon – Zeitreise, their best production in my opinion. The difference with this track is, that the beat kicks in immediately, with a nice background melody. After 30 seconds the vocals kick in, and after those vocals it’s BAAAAAAAAAAM, the actual melody. This melody gave me goose bumps in the record shop, it’s hard, powerful, and very energetic. Just what I expected of Dark Moon. A remix which will take you away, to another place. This is the best remix on this record, and this will get the most airplay if/when the records breaks through.
B2: Pedro Del Mar Remix This is the last remix on this record, by Pedro Del Mar, who produced, amongst other productions, “Harder”. It starts of again with a beat, and the vocals, but no actual melody, until around the 2nd minute, you hear complete silence, but the vocals kick in once again. And then the melody follows. It’s kinda the same melody as the Dark Moon remix, but more calmly, for people who don’t like hard trance. Again, a great remix.
This track has been released several months ago, but only due to Armin’s show, I payed attention to it again, and I thought that a review would be nice. If you see it in your local store, be sure to listen to it, because you might really, really like it.
