Smith & Pledger ‘Believe’ – promos on the way
Mixmag’s described these two fellas as the future of UK trance and we’re not about to argue with that assessment. Believe is Smith & Pledger’s second solo release, following a successful debut earlier in 2004 with ‘Forever’, plus two well-received collaborations with Matt Hardwick.
The Original Mix pays homage to the good ol’ days of trance, and has earned regular spins from Above & Beyond and Matt Hardwick off CDR. On the B-side, Smith & Pledger’s 2004 remix brings the tune bang up to date with a healthy but not overstated dose of big room euphoria. To celebrate this release, we’re also making Smith & Pledger’s unreleased but oft-requested track, ‘In Too Deep’, available to buy as a download on the anjuna website soon. Watch out for limited Believe promos on anjunabeats.com soon and a full release on September 6th.
Anjunabeats Volume Two + Album launch party at Turnmills on Sept 30
Fresh from their red hot Radio 1 Essential Mix, Above & Beyond are set to return the decks for Anjunabeats Volume Two, an absorbing showcase of the best music played on their weekly Ministry of Sound radio show and signed to Anjunabeats. The compilation is scheduled for release on September 20th and will include tracks and mixes by Above & Beyond, Smith & Pledger, Super8, Endre and Probspot. The album will be supported by an Anjunabeats Worldwide Tour, including a special launch party at Turnmills in London on Thursday September 30th featuring DJ sets from Above & Beyond, Super8 and James Grant.
Menno de Jong ‘Guanxi’ and Rusch & Murray ‘The Promise’ – out now!
Dutch producer Menno de Jong’s debut single ‘Guanxi’ has been nestled firmly in Tiesto’s DJ box for several weeks now, meanwhile Armin Van Buuren’s dished out a respectable hammering to Rusch & Murray’s “The Promise”. Both records are now available to buy on 12” vinyl or as a download on Anjunabeats.com
