The classic Thrillseekers tune has been in for a tune up and boy are these remixes just what the scene needs right now ...
Thrillseekers - Syneasthesia
One of the most famous thrillseekers tunes has been remixed in 4 very special ways
1. Ferry Corsten Remix - An uplifting track thats has lovely beats from the start winding its way up to a major hands in the air breakdown which is so light you could just float away on it. The main synth riff has a lovely echo that really adds to the uplifting side of the track and the builds are brilliant fading in and out getting more and more intense over time until it suddenly explodes back into the main tune again where it carries on smoothly until the end.
2. Pulser Remix - This remix has a lovely sub bass going through it with stabs fading in and out from the very start. It is anothe rvery uplifting track that builds up slowly but so nicely with beats and percussion working so well together. When the synth comes in you start to get a harder feel for the track and it takes shape. It flows right into the breakdown which again has the synth with a lovely echo on it and bits fading in and out. A light "ahhh" comes in and out over the top getting louder as the breakdown builds to crash back into the main tune.
3. Mesh Remix - This one has a more psy trance feel about it when it first comes in with some industrial sounds and a nice underlying bass. Sounds fading in and out in the background and the percussion building as a synth line comes in. After about a minute the beat kicks in with an industrial ping and the track starts to really build. More layers come in a little bit to suddenly but this really adds to the effect. There is a nice break with a lovely synth thats very light layered over some lovely kicks before the kicks drop and the synth is left floating over a nice airey build and then its right back into the action. With tear drop sounds fading in and out this really is a lovely piece of music.
4. En-Motion 2004 Edit - This one gets stuck right in with woodblocks and a humming synth being the things that stand out the most at the start as the percussion builds up. The piano riff is lovely - building up from a single note into a full on riff that is layered really well over the rest of the track. Another uplifting remix with tasty kicks and off beat basses leading into an echoy synth line in the breakdown. The break down kicks out with a roll and a rather random and out of place sci fi sound which really could have been avoided as it ruins the flow of the breakdown as it cracks back into the track with samples fading in and out all over the place
After hearing these its no wonder Steve aka Thrillseekers is on the lips of every trance dj and lover out there at the moment
Conclusion:
The mesh remix is the one that really does it for me as i love the sounds that come in and out the psy trance sounds really make my hair stand on end. Over all every remix is more than worth playing and the crowd will be loving these for years to come
