Trance heavyweight Anjunabeats latest offering is a brand new piece of trance from the one and only Super8. This one is long waited for and now its landed, is causing quite stir...
:: Super8 - Cre8 :: Anjunabeats :: ANJ037
A: Cre8 (Original Mix) 'Cre8' begins with a solid beat and some abrupt male choir "Ahhs", along with some other more synthy hits. These give 'Cre8' a more emotional feeling right from the start and throughout the first few sections you hear other long female "Aah" sounds. The breakdown coaxes in a smooth and beautiful melody, cushioned with a few extra vocal sounding notes giving extra feeling right up to the top of the buildup. Super8 again bathes you in synths as the track takes hold of you and moves you. A piano plays a complement to the main melody - together, the main synth, piano and subtle singing create (no pun intended!) a spectacular sound which you just must simply hear for yourself.
B: Cre8 (Mirco de Govia Remix) The Mirco de Govia Remix of 'Cre8' begins quite deceivingly. The beat isn't as pronounced as the Original Mix, but there is a gritty bass synth in the background which makes you think the track may turn out to be more aggressive. This isn't to be though, because as the introductory sections pass, the track is built up around sweeping synths, ambience and sfx giving the whole sound a smooth and flowing feel which really surrounds you. The first main break (there are around seven breaks of varying size throughout the duration of this track!) is where the familiar melody is introduced via method of breakbeat, which is interesting so early on in a track. From here, the track is a journey of melody and smooth, flowing sounds. There is a small section just past the middle where the synths ease off before a breakdown, but other than that its pure trance all the way. Also, in the last section, a beautiful piano makes an appearance to help out the melody before the end of the track. Its a shame it doesn't feature more, but this is nothing compared to the entire track.
Conclusion:
Sheer brilliance. The smooth and flowing melody engulfs you and uplifts you and the combined melodic elements of the Original sound superb. The Mirco de Govia Remix is a fantastic piece of work with some incredibly well engineered sounds and sublime trancey feel. One of my favourite Anjunabeats releases.
